Hey guys. Ronnie here. Yesterday Jeremiah posted this from the bands facebook page but I wanted to say a few things. Jeremiah joined the band a little over a year and a half ago. We've played many shows together and have gotten to travel across the entire country in van. He has taught us a ton about ourselves, about our strengths and weaknesses. He's a gear head so we've even picked up a lot of knowledge about that stuff as well. We are very sad to see him go but we're excited about the opportunity he's been given and are glad to see him pursue a great career. He will always be our friend and brother and we're thankful to have him in our lives as I'm sure many of you are too. Here's his official post in case you missed it.
To all of our amazing fans and friends, I wanted to take this time to personally announce my decision to leave Skyhawk Drive.
In light of some professional opportunities that have arisen, I have decided that I can no longer commit to the band full-time. As a result, I have made the difficult decision to leave the band to pursue other career related endeavors.
Leaving has not been an easy decision for me at all, as performing in Skyhawk has been a huge part of my life for almost 2 years now and the experience has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Thank you to all of you who have contributed to this chapter of my life. You have made this an experience I will never forget. Developing relationships with all the guys from Skyhawk has been amazing and the relationships will continue forever. I am excited to see what God has in store for all of us as we pursue our own future goals.
Music is a huge part of my life and this won't be the last you'll hear of me musically. I have an acoustic side project with members from all different bands called The Boutonnieres . Check us out when you get a chance.
Keep in touch, and I'm sure I'll see some of you again at local SHD shows.
Farewell and thank you again,
Jeremiah
